Curriculum Revision:
The Graduate School of Physical Therapy has recently implemented a major revision of the SRU DPT curriculum. The life cycle format around which the previous curriculum design was built has been removed to be replaced by a traditional/guide based model. The revised curriculum is designed to provide enhanced learning opportunities for SRU DPT students based in the four practice patterns identified and described in the American Physical Therapy Association's Guide to Physical Therapist Practice. The previous curricular content has been reorganized primarily around the guide to practice with enhanced integration of material throughout the program. The new curriculum is 118 credits.
