Information for Honored Students:

All honored students except Presidential Scholars receive group recognition.

Honored students are lined up prior to the event and given instructions on their marching order for the processional.

Lapel ribbons will be available for all students being honored. If awarded more than one honor, please pick up each lapel ribbon and line up with the group with the highest academic requirement. (Requirement order: Presidential Scholar, Deans List, Scholar Athlete, Service Scholar, Scholarship Recipient)

Please wear Lapel ribbons on the left side.

All students will report to the Field House no later than 1:30 PM the day of the event. Signs indicating line-up areas will be prominently displayed throughout the Field House. Please report to staff members assisting with line-up.



Presidential Scholars:

Presidential scholars will line-up (alphabetically by last name) at the east end of the track area nearest Spotts World Cultures Building with guidance from Convocation Assistants.

Presidential Scholars will lead the students in the processional.

Deans' List Students:

Deans' List Students will line up (in random order) at the west end of the track area farthest from Spotts World Cultures Building.

Please report to the staff members helping with line-up.

Scholarship Recipients:

Scholarship recipients will line up (in random order) at the north end of the track area.

Please report to the staff members helping with line-up.

Scholar Athletes:

Scholar athletes will line up (in random order) at the north end of the track area.

Please report to the staff helping with line-up.

Service Learning Scholars:

Community Service Learning Scholars will line up (in random order) at the north end of the track area.

Please report to the staff helping with line-up.
