The meal plans at Slippery Rock University offer you the most convenient way to take advantage of all the features of our Dining Services programs. Meal plans let you pick up groceries, snacks or full meals without having to carry cash or use a credit card. An added bonus is that you have three payment options; Board Meal Credits, Flex Dollars, or Rock Dollars. Board Meal Credits: Each board meal plan is in the form of credits that offer the student assurance of being able to eat without having to carry cash. These credits are used as payment at Weisenfluh and Boozel. All campus residents are required to select a board meal plan. Board meal credits are not transferable to other dining accounts, to other students, nor semester-to-semester. Flex Dollars: Flex Dollars offer flexibility, with credits built in that can be spent at any of the Dining Services sponsored food venues on campus. Use your Flex Fund here to entertain family members or friends! Usable at any of the following venues:
Flex Dollars are renewable, which means additional deposits can be made throughout the year to the account. Any Flex Dollars remaining in the account at the end of the fall semester are transferable to the spring semester when the student contracts for a meal plan in the spring; however, they will not transfer to the following year nor carry through the summer semester, so students are encouraged to use the Flex Fund credits by the end of the spring semester. Rock Dollars: Students have another payment option with Rock Dollars, which can be used at various locations on campus, including the dining facilities. Funds can be added to the Rock Dollars account at the Student Accounts Office, 104 Old Main. Rock dollars can be used at the following locations: On Campus
