Present yourself as a PROFESSIONAL. You will come in contact with numerous patrons and guests. Because of this, you must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance. You must dress in a manner that is appropriate to your work area and responsibilities. Cut-off jeans, short shorts, sport shorts, midriff tops, tank tops, jeans with holes, HATS, bandanas and dew rags are NOT permitted.

Aquatic Center Staff
• Staff MUST wear a choice of white ARC lifeguard t-shirt or ARC tank top and professional attire (includes bathing suit, sandals or water shoes) at all times while on duty.
• NO jeans or sweat suits

Welcome Center Staff
• Staff MUST wear a nametag and a choice of the following: yellow / green ARC Team Member shirt, green building supervisor shirt or gray ARC sweatshirt.

• Slacks, walking shorts, skirts, neat and tapered jeans/wind pants and khakis are acceptable; sweat clothes and basketball apparel are not acceptable.
• Tennis shoes or other closed toe shoes are acceptable. Sandals or flip-flops are not acceptable.

Russell Wright Fitness Center Staff

• Staff MUST wear a nametag and a choice of the following: yellow / green ARC Team Member shirt, or gray ARC sweatshirt.
• Slacks, walking shorts, khakis and tapered wind pants are acceptable; jeans, sweats and basketball apparel are not acceptable.
• Tennis/athletic shoes only.

Climbing Wall Staff
• Staff MUST wear a choice of the following: yellow / green ARC Team Member shirt or gray ARC sweatshirt.
• Walking/cargo shorts, neat and tapered jeans and cargo pants are acceptable. Approved climbing attire is also acceptable.
• Athletic/climbing shoes/sandals; NO flip-flops; NO Bare Feet!!

Intramural Office/Supervisory Staff
• Staff MUST wear an INTRAMURAL STAFF shirt and nametag while working the courts or fields
• Walking shorts, neat sport shorts, wind pants or tapered jeans are acceptable
• NO Hats, bandanas, dew rags are permitted
• Tennis/athletic shoes only

Sports Officials
• MUST wear officials’ shirt and athletic shorts or pants
• Athletic shoes only
• NO Hats, bandanas or dew rags for indoor sports; Clean, appropriate ball cap worn bill facing forward, permitted for outdoor sports

Cell phones or I-PODS are NOT considered to be part of the work attire for any ARC TEAM position. Please refrain from usage while on duty. Use of smokeless tobacco is also prohibited in the office, on the courts or fields.

Note: If you remain in the ARC after your shift has ended, please remove your ARC Team Member shirt.
Please do not work out or “play” in your staff shirt!
