Overview: Each year the ARC and Campus Recreation employs two Graduate Assistants. Currently there are two assistantships available in the Office of Campus Recreation; Intramural Sports programmer and Outdoor Adventures.
Job Description: Assist the Intramural Sports Coordinator in the administration of all aspects of the intramural sports program. Primary responsibilities are organizing, scheduling and supervising intramural sports, recruiting, training and scheduling sports officials, promoting and publicizing programs. Also, oversees undergraduate field work and practicum students, issuance and collection of intramural sports equipment. Other duties as assigned by the Intramural Sports Coordinator and/or Campus Recreation profession team.
Job Description:The graduate assistant will be working under the supervision of the Coordinator of Sport Clubs/Outdoor Adventures and providing assistance in the administration of all aspects of the outdoor adventure program. Primary responsibilities are organizing, scheduling and supervising programs, recruiting, training, supervising and scheduling staff, supervising practicum students, promoting and publicizing programs and set up, take down, distribution and collection of equipment.
