Visit
the University for an Individual
Appointment and/or Campus Tour, or schedule a phone appointment.
- Visit with an SRU Transfer
Counselor on your campus during a “Transfer
Day.”
- Talk to friends and counselors
who have experience with the University.
- Request a preliminary evaluation
of transfer credits.
- When offered Admission, submit
$90 Enrollment Deposit.
- Bookmark the
Academic Calendar
on the SRU web site and mark your calendar with important dates.
- Watch your mail for Advising and
Registration instructions 2-3 weeks prior to the beginning of
the registration period.
- Arrange an appointment with your
academic advisor immediately once you are provided with your
degree audit and registration date.
- Apply for
Financial Aid,
using recommended timelines, indicating SRU as your chosen
institution. If transferring for a spring semester, contact the
SRU Financial Aid Office or visit their web page for specific
instructions.
- Attend an
Orientation session before you begin your first semester’s
enrollment. Prior to the first semester, watch your mail for
your invitation.
- Obtain a Photo ID during
Orientation or at the
ID Office in Weisenfluh Dining Hall.
- Purchase Books at the University
Union Bookstore or via
the Internet.
- Learn how to use the
University's Library system during Orientation or visit
Bailey Library
during the first few weeks of the semester.
