From Route 422/Route 8:

Take Rte 422 west to the Rte 8 North exit in Butler. Travel approximately 25 miles north on Route 8 to Route 173. Turn left on Route 173 opposite the Old Stone House. Follow Route 173 into Slippery Rock. At the first traffic light, turn right onto Kiester Road. Follow Kiester Road to the blinking light at the lower entrance to the campus. Turn left onto campus and bear immediately to the right. The University Union is the second building on the right as you proceed around the campus loop.

From I-79:

Take I-79 to the Slippery Rock exit, #105. Turn left off the exit ramp and follow Route 108 into Slippery Rock (approximately 7 miles). At the stop light in town at Main Street (Route 173), turn right. Follow Main Street to the second stop light. Turn left at that light onto Kiester Road. Follow Kiester Road to the blinking light at the lower entrance to the campus. Turn left onto campus and bear immediately to the right. The University Union is the second building on the right as you proceed around the campus loop.

From I-80:

Follow I-80 to the I-79 interchange. Take I-79 south to the Slippery Rock exit, #105. Turn left off the exit ramp and follow Route 108 into Slippery Rock (approximately 7 miles). Directions to the East Lake Parking Lot for conference attendees:

Follow directions listed above to the lower entrance to campus on Kiester Road.  At the flashing yellow light, turn left into the lower entrance to Slippery Rock University.  Turn immediately right onto the East Central Loop.  Turn right at the first street onto Stadium Drive.  Proceed past the large parking lot on the right (West Lake Lot) and the small lake on the right.  Turn right at East Lake Lane and enter the East Lake Lot (adjacent to the baseball stadium).  Conference attendees may park in any available spot that is not specifically reserved by signage.  Conference attendees must display a parking permit issued for the event.  The University Union is a short walk from the East Lake Lot: cross Stadium Drive, turn left, and walk one block west.  Turn right and walk all the way through the parking lot towards the Union, which is the building with the large awning/awning frame over the back patio.  Visitors may enter through the doors from the back patio and proceed up one flight of stairs to the main level.  Alternatively, visitors may follow the sidewalks around the left side of the building to enter at the front entrance.
