The key element to finding and declaring a major is the exploration process. This workshop will discuss the four components of the exploration process: 1) self-knowledge-exploring your interests and becoming aware of your abilities, skills and values; 2) educational knowledge-gathering information about curriculum requirements; 3) occupational knowledge-connecting your academic program to various occupations; and 4) decision-making knowledge-finalizing your decision-making process. This workshop will be helpful for sophomore students who are undecided about their major or considering changing their major. |
