The Freshman Leader Scholar Program (FLSP) is a leadership development program for the freshmen students of SRU. The program is a fantastic way for students to get invovled and stay involved throughout college in organizations that SRU has to offer. Program participants from the past have rated FLSP to be an excellent and enjoyable experience. Many of the past participants have become successful student leaders serving in numerous rolls from community assistants to student government president.
If you were invovled in extracurricular activities in high school such as student council, athletics, theatre, band, etc. FLSP is a great program for you! Students that participate in FLSP are immediately involved in the campus community by participating in workshops and doing community service on and off campus.
If you want to enhance your leadership skills, get involved on campus, and make new friends you should definitely take the first step by picking up a FLSP Application that will be available the week of August 25, 2008 in the Center for Student Involvement & Leadership located in B-105 University Union.
Upcoming FLSP Dates:
*FLSP Applications will be due: September 22, 2008
*FLSP Interviews will be conducted the week of September 29, 2008
