Freshman Leader Scholar Program

The Freshman Leader Scholar Program (FLSP) is a leadership development program for first-year students of Slippery Rock University.  The program is a fantastic way for freshmen to get involved and stay involved throughout college in organizations that SRU has to offer. Program participants from the past have rated FLSP to be an excellent experience.  Many of the past participants have become successful student leaders serving in numerous roles from community assistants to student government president. If you were a leader in high school and want to continue developing your leadership skills at the Rock, this is the program for you!

All interested students must come to a Leadership Retreat on September 23, 2007.  Along with the required workshops listed below, you will also be part of a cohort that meets monthly, get involved in an organization on campus, as well as complete a community service project.
