1. Climbing is permitted only when supervised by a Campus Recreation team supervisor.
2. Only climbing shoes or athletic shoes are allowed on the wall. Street shoes or hiking boots are prohibited.
3. Helmets are strongly recommended.
4. Climbers can use their personal harness with the approval of the Campus Recreation team member working as a belayer.
5. Lead climbing will be allowed only during specified times.
6. Bouldering, with a required spotter, is permitted below the specified height.
7. Bouldering is not permitted above or beneath another climber. Hands must not reach above the established height.
8. Spectators are not permitted on the climbing area landing surface.
9. All problems with the facility and/or equipment should be reported to a member of the staff immediately.
10. Loose chalk is not permitted. Chalk balls are available for purchase at the Welcome Center for use in a chalk bag.
11. A Climbing Wall Supervisor or an ARC certified belayer (This is a free course for any ARC member) may only perform belaying.
